Glasses, Bottles —non- recyclable

Why glasses is non-recyclable in Hong Kong and no one is making a claim.
Is it because glasses isn’t worth a penny so it is non-recyclable.
If this is the case, recycling in Hong Kong is not trying to protect the environment but making profit.
It is so sad but typical Hong Kong.
