Don’t know why “one night only” always goes so well with “concert”, I know it is cliché but I love the combination.
I started to know Stacey when I bought the album “Breakfast on the Morning Tram”, came out in 2007. Since then her name has been disappeared in my life until I saw the poster month ago in MTR station.
I was lucky to see Stacey’s concert in Macau on 26th April, 2014. It was my first time seeing concert in Macau and in the Venetian. I felt so excited as I always love experiencing new thing. Traveling to Macau for a concert is actually okay and a lot better than I thought. 3 hrs return for an amazing and thrilling concert is totally worth it. And the most important thing, the ticket is a lot cheaper than Hong Kong while I think the venue somehow is better. Guess I need to pay nearly double in Hong Kong for this kind of concert. So next time I won’t hesitate to see a concert in Macau. For those who have the same hurdle, don’t worry, just go for it!
Luckily I did go for the concert, otherwise, I wouldn’t know Stacey is such a cheerful and talented lady. I feel so chill and happy when she speaks. I am sooo impressed not only by her voice but her talent in languages. She spoke a lot in Portuguese and sang in French. Maybe next time, we could hear her speaking in Cantonese!
Surprised she sang Bewitched, Bothered, Bewildered and So nice in the concert, these tunes are my all time favourite!! Love she talks a little about the song before she sings. This really helps me to be connected with the songs especially those I am not familiar with. Because of that I learned So nice was released in 1965. Didn’t know it was such an old song.
